Moving to NYC, Why and Whats Next

Hi friends,

I feel like one of the most important skills I’ve learned being a hairdresser is being adaptable. Meeting new faces and building longtime relationships for the past 6 years in LA, every appointment has been so special for me and I feel forever grateful to have met each and every person that I’ve met along the way. Working long hours, going to school full time and doing kick ass hair is what I’ve done best in my young adult years. Having a positive attitude, taking each day with a clear open mind, and knowing when to take time off have been habits that I’ve maintained and grown to love.

Just a few weeks ago I picked up my whole life and moved to New York. Doing hair promotes self confidence. Self confidence to cut a little more, chose the correct toner, and do one more foil. This confidence has lead me to jumping out of an airplane, scuba diving, cross country ski racing, and running a marathon. It has also taken me across the country to take my career to the next level. I would do anything to promote inspiration and drive my passion for the industry I love so much.

I've moved and will soon be working with some of the top hairdressers in the country, opening doors to sponsorship connections, and grow in an environment based around content creation. A salon atmosphere with passionate artists, creative thinkers, and positive energy will elevate my career like never before. New endless opportunities to explore and discover are at my fingertips and I feel ecstatic.

xx Cami
